Storm repair
A limb came down across the roofline
A heavy limb tore away high in the canopy and landed on the edge of the roof. It split shingles, cracked the fascia board and pulled a section of soffit loose above a bedroom window, and from the yard it looked far more contained than it was. Two slopes needed work. The claim was approved as labor with materials supplied separately, which is a common structure on storm repairs and a confusing one the first time you meet it.
